This safari starts and finishes in Kampala
Murchison Falls National Park with the meandering Victoria Nile and the dramatic Murchison Falls is a stunning habitat for wildlife. The launch trip to the bottom of the Falls is unforgettable, both to experience this mighty river and to see the crocodiles, hippos and birds that bask on its banks. Buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck and lion can also be seen. Over 450 bird species have been recorded. Chimpanzees are seen in the nearby Budongo Forest, which has about 900 chimpanzees, the largest number in the region; it also has an unusual variety of birds.
